Permanent Purchase Ledger & Payroll Clerk - £20,000-£23,000 - Full time - Onsite parking - Progression

Your new company
Your new company is a well-established manufacturing business based in the heart of Blackburn. They pride themselves on providing high quality products whilst ensuring excellent customer service levels. Due to an increase in workload, they are now seeking a permanent member of staff to join their team, focusing on the purchase ledger and the payroll.

Your new role
Your new role will consist of you working full time hours between Monday and Friday. Your day to day duties will consist of maintaining and managing the purchase ledger, ensuring the invoices are processed on a weekly basis, reconciling regularly and obtaining receipts of invoices. Alongside this, you will be expected to produce the sales invoices for up to 50 suppliers and manage the month end reporting. Another aspect of your role will be to process and manage the two separate payrolls for the business for up to 70 employees, ensuring all employees are paid on time and all payroll queries are dealt with.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience working within a similar role and be confident in processing high volumes of purchase and sales invoices. It would be preferred for you to have a good, strong understanding of payroll and be a confident user of Excel with the ability to create vlookups. It would be ideal for you to be available before March, however this isn't necessary.

What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be offered a competitive salary of up to £23,000 per annum alongside a number of excellent company benefits including generous holidays which are 31 days. You will get the chance to work with a developing and growing manufacturer in East Lancashire who are benefiting from a surge of organic growth.
