Learning & Development Officer
I am currently looking for an experienced Learning and Development Officer to the day to day running of the L&D function of a London based homeless charity. You will be assisting with the support of Managers in the development and empowerment of their staff and facilitating a full Learning and Development service to meet the needs of the organisation.
This temporary position will be to help prepare the annual training programme for 2018-2019 which starts in April!
Prepare the 2 week induction programme for the new trainees working with internal facilitators and external trainers
Managing the current traineeship programme cohorts, i.e., liaising with their managers and chasing performance reviews, including arranging the closing ceremony
Promoting the e-learning provision to maximise usage
You will also take the lead, working with the L & D Administrator on the day to day running of the L&D function.
Dealing with L&D queries
Managing e-learning and updating the databases
Ensuring that places on the training events are filled
Liaising with trainers and presenters, printing hand-outs and setting up the training room
You will have excellent organisation, administrative and customer service skills along with an L&D background or a working understanding of L&D.
