The Company

My central London based national business consultancy client is seeking a full time accounts assistant to join the team. The company is a Global Tax Consultancy who operates a very busy finance department based in the heart of the City.

The role

You will be reporting directly to the Finance Manager and the main duties of a Full Time Accounts Assistant include:

-Converting Consultant time-sheets into sales invoices
-Sending sales invoices to clients
-Handling client queries.
-Multi-currency bank reconciliation
-Preparing payment runs and loading them to the online banking system
-Posting journals
-Month end and VAT reports

The Candidate

Key capabilities

We are looking for a pro-active, well organised, self-starter with attention to detail to join our organisation based in the heart of London city.

The successful accounts assistant will have:

-Experience of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger (essential).
-Final stage of studying towards an Accounting qualification either AAT/ACCA/CIMA.
-Computer literate and good Excel skills.
-Good written and oral communication skills.
-Organised and Punctual.

Pay and Benefits

Salary £24-£26k per annum + Benefits
