12 month Fixed term Junior Project Manager

About the role

As a project manager you`ll take ownership of the management, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure of strategic business projects in line with the agreed methodology.

You`ll demonstrate very strong leadership, organisation and planning skills whilst acting decisively in critical situations.

Our project managers also focus on meeting project commitments, building relationships with stakeholders, facilitating the resolution and recording of any issues and presenting to senior management on behalf of the customer.

This is a perfect opportunity to interact regularly with new or existing customers to determine their requirements for a product/service. We`ll give you the platform to continuously evaluate and develop the project management tools and methodologies used within the business.

You`ll be joining a growing team who are supportive and work closely together. Reporting to the programme manager, you will be actively encouraged and supported in your development needs. In turn, the role provides a great exposure in all levels of the business and really showcase what you can do.

Who you will be

We want to make sure you`re set for success so the key skills we are looking for in the role are;

  • experience of delivering multiple projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • a prince 2 foundation qualification or equivalent will be ideal
  • excellent problem-solving skills; the ability to think quickly
  • good interpersonal skills with the ability to work and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a business
  • strong and tested project management skills, including sponsor, 3rd party and risk management
  • proficient with the use of Visio, MS Projects and MSOffice Suite
