The opportunity
My client, is one of the leading Event Service suppliers within their industry, providing the up-most service to exhibitors within prestigious venues! Due to their continued success within their field, they are now recruiting a newly graduated Events Management student to join their team! Ideally this role is for a recent Events Management graduate who has some experience of working in events be it a few months experience or possibly via an internship. The role offers full training and is a great step into the world of Events!

Purpose of the role
The Event Management Graduate will be responsible for providing excellent customer support for clients’ pre, during and post show.

Event Management Graduate Specification:

- Outstanding customer service is essential!
- IT Savvy, proficient in Office Word. Wireless knowledge would be advantageous
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Confidence to build and manage relationships with a variety of people
- Use own initiative to take ownership and over deliver
- Flexibility with workings hours (working late, weekends)

Event Manager Graduate Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent customer support for all the clients’ pre during and post show. Answer phone calls from Exhibitors and Organisers.
- Manage the on-site help desk, successfully promote the organisations services, resolve clients’ queries, escalate where appropriate, keep an accurate record and communicate to the relevant parties.
- Maintain the sales ledger daily ensuring all payment are recorded timely and correctly.
- Own the reconciliation process between the operating systems and ensure they are balanced and reflect the business taken accurately.
- Chase debt on behalf of the Sales Team weekly
- Where possible, support the Sales Team with incoming enquiries (Sales inbox & calls) and process orders
