Sixth Form College in Barnsley are seeking a highly motivated Geography Teacher who will be committed to academic excellence and to help every child succeed. You will be comfortable planning, teaching and marking at KS5.

The role is to commence Monday 19th February and the position is ongoing with the possibility of a permanent position. This post is part time 4 days per week.

What you will require:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Be confident, passionate and highly motivated

  • Strong classroom control

  • The ability to carry out planning for lessons

  • A creative teaching ability

  • A commitment to develop the personalities and abilities of all students

  • A confident and positive approach to working with children

  • NQT’s are welcome to apply
