Page Personnel are working in partnership with a SME organisation to recruit for an accounts assistant clerk to join a busy accountancy team of three based in the Widnes area. You will be providing support to the finance team and will be reporting to the finance manager.

This is a family run business who specialises in industrial services that delivers a lasting financial and environmental benefit to a massive portfolio of clients such as B&Q, Ethel Austin, Vauxhall etc. They pride themselves in building lasting relationships with their customers, creating individual business solutions.

Description

The successful accounts assistant clerk will have the following duties;

*Handling customer payments

*Allocating and posting cash payments onto Sage Line 50

*Chasing any outstanding debts

*Dealing with bank reconciliation

*Dealing with payroll

*Preparation on month end reports

*Handling both sales and purchase ledger

*Dealing with all customer queries of the accounts

*Exporting and generating reports to input onto Sage Line 50

Profile

The successful accounts assistant clerk will have the following;

*Have a proven track record of an accounts assistant, candidates without experience will not be considered

*Have experience using Sage Line 50

*Competent with Excel, able to do v-look ups, sum-ifs

*Excellent communication skill
