Channel Marketing Manager - Mobile

Up to £50k plus 10% bonus and benefits

A global leader in the mobile device and consumer electronics space is currently recruiting for a Channel Marketing Manager to drive and implement channel marketing activity in their largest account. The Channel Marketing Manager will seek opportunities within existing channel marketing plans to leverage additional awareness, footfall and sales.

This role will support the sell-in and sell-through of mobile devices, and accessories, maximising adoption of services through insight-led marketing strategy and planning.

The successful candidate will be part of an exciting business area, supporting the organisation's biggest channel partner in mobile.

Key responsibilities:

  • GTM planning and execution for new product launches, life cycle management and budget ownership.
  • Develop and implement quarterly channel marketing plans across all touch-points.
  • Understanding customer requirements and opportunities, developing prosperous relationships at all levels across the account.
  • Assisting the commercial account team in selling into new channel devices through presentation of an ATL marketing plan and development of bespoke BTL initiatives to stimulate consumer demand within the channel.
  • Anticipating and planning for competitor activity in the market and channels to limit the potential negative effect on mobile
  • Ensuring the marketing accrual budget is allocated in a cost-effective manner to maximise ROI.
  • Understanding stock and sales figures for each product by channel and ensuring all products sell-through in a timely manner.
  • Working with the training department to provide a schedule of training events and clear direction for device training within the channel.
  • Working closely with PR, social, sponsorship, and CRM teams to deliver channel-specific campaigns.
  • Managing channel-specific activities and budget with relevant channel marketing agencies.

Required experience/skills:

  • Telecoms or mobile marketing background, ideally with a vendor in the same role or marketing manager in a mobile network - ideally 3+ years experience.
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience across full marketing mix ATL and BTL.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills.
  • Commercial ability to produce business case and ROI on marketing spend.
  • Experienced in working with large budgets.
  • Ideally educated to degree level or similar, plus marketing qualification.
  • Product Marketing and Services Marketing experience
  • Ability to seek out and build relationship across the channel contract matrix.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Face to face customer experience is essential.
  • A strong team-worker, confident liaising with and presenting to all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
