Harmony Recruitment and Development have an opportunity for a Trainer/Assessor based in the Edinburgh area.

Working with a team of trainers and operational management, you will be responsible for delivering employability skills training to groups of people across the Edinburgh area with the ultimate goal of supporting people to achieve a qualification and moving them into employment or an apprenticeship.

Courses are delivered on a full time basis.

The person:

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in delivering Employability skills. Must be able to demonstrate an ability to negotiate with local employers to secure job opportunities and work placements for the course attendees.

Sound administration skills and a knowledge, understanding and competence in basic IT is required.

Must possess an understanding of the local labour market to support people with job search activities

The package:

Working as a Self Employed Trainer/Assessor you are paid at an hourly rate of £11.50 per hour paid on a monthly basis.

Essential Qualification/Experience:

ICT Qualification

A1 Award (or equivalent) OR Cert Ed

Industry experience in Customer Services and Hospitality

A relevant qualification at Level 3 or above

Desirable Qualification:

V1 or IQA

ICT qualification
