You will be working for a Denmark based organisation who has been operation for over 70 years within a niche manufacturing industry. The UK operation has been established for over 15 years and supports the UK market in within the organisations group.
Your new role
You will be working in a stand alone Finance Manager role and will be required to support the Managing Director in driving the business forward through providing commercially minded accounts and support. As the Finance manager you will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company and will undertake all aspects of financial management, including business accounting, cash management, regulatory and monthly financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, development of internal control policies and procedures, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles and standards. Your role will also include financial risk management, stock control, company IT systems, HR and Health & Safety.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have previous experience working within an SME organisation and must have Manufacturing experience. You will be full conversant in producing end to end accounts and the monthly management accounts is extremely important within this role. You will have experience with costings and must be able to deliver a timely, accurate and efficient finance function to support to the companies growth.
