Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Training Officer in Agriculture Management to join the team based in Brooksby. You will be on a full time permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, with a highly competitive salary of £20,077 – £22,843 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience).

Our client is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, spread across two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby.

As part of this journey, both their campuses have undergone a £27m redevelopment, bringing new facilities and improved environments for all their students and staff.

The college has seen significant investment in practical and teaching facilities within their departments benefitting from brand new state of the art facilities. They are proud of the fact that their student achievement is the highest in the East Midlands for 16-18 year olds across all levels and is the 4th highest for level 3 provision.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Officer in Agriculture Management to join the agriculture and countryside team.

The post holder will be working to support the Course Tutors and Programme Team Manager in the smooth and efficient running of practical training within the department.

As the Training Officer in Agriculture Management, you will be required to:

- Support and deliver practical sessions to learners in agriculture and countryside management.

- Complete H&S visits with employers.

- Deliver on the agriculture work based learning provision.

- Participate in the development of short courses throughout the year.

They require you to hold at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area and have previous industry experience. Experience of working with livestock is a key requirement of this role.

You will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and proactive, with excellent communication skills.
