On behalf of our expanding client based in Hixon we are seeking a highly motivated & knowledgeable Accounts Office Manager.
The successful candidate must have previous experience of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger & Payroll and will be assisting the accountant with a range of tasks including daily book-keeping, payroll, VAT, document control & compliance management.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of the accounts office, supplies & equipment and will also be required to carry out reception and telephone duties.
Essential Skills:
* Previous Accounts & Payroll experience* An aptitude for figures* Proficient in MS Excel with knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts & Payroll* Work well under your own initiative* Capable of meeting strict deadlines* Excellent attention to detail & acuracy* Excellent organisational skills
Duties will include:
* Office Management - Supplies Stock Control, Office Contracts* Purchase Ledger - Payments, VAT Control, Supplier Accounts* Debtors - Statements, Receipts, Bank Postings* Payroll & Expenses - Monthly Payroll, Petty Cash, Personnel Files* Communications - Mail, Reception, Email & Postage* General - Secretarial Support, Refreshments, Organise Functions
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 4.30 pm
