Parts Customer Relationship Supervisor

The Hartshorne Group is an independent Volvo dealer covering the Derbyshire, Midlands, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire area.
We are currently recruiting for a Parts Customer Relationship Supervisor for our Walsall depot.
The main purpose of the role The role of the Parts Customer Relationship Supervisor is to provide technical assistance / guidance to parts selling team, the Volvo parts customers, to identify parts needs and work proactively to close new business opportunities as part of a team. Being a customer-facing role the ability to satisfy the needs our customers and develop incremental sales opportunities is important. The successful individual will have a positive attitude towards business generation, a fantastic telephone manner and the ability to look after our customers and convert enquiries into parts sales. This is a really exciting opportunity to build a career within a well-established organisation.
Duties will include - To coach, guide and support the parts selling team in achieving sales targets. - Providing outstanding service to walk in and telephone enquiries. - Contacting decision makers via telephone to generate new business and parts leads. - Making appointments to meet and develop business levels with key account customers - Maintaining our customer database and populating with relevant data - Keeping up to date with competitors and changes within the industry. - Identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling the company’s products and services. - Work within the team environment on specific marketing campaigns.
Hours of Work Monday to Friday 08.00am until 17.00pm (one early start and one late finish required but hours remain same). Plus alternate Saturday mornings 08.00am until 13.00pm
Skills & Experience Required - Commercial experience in the B2B or B2C sectors. - Commercial experience within an automotive, agricultural or construction equipment environment would be an advantage - Experience within an independent parts supplier would also be advantageous - Good IT skills & knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel. - Excellent communication skills, a positive and unwavering determination. - The ability to work to target and deadlines. - Team player.
