An international private equity backed business in West Berkshire is looking to recruit an experienced Interim Finance Project Director for a period of 6 months. Reporting to the CFO, you would be responsible for driving a number of key Working Capital and Accounts Receivable process improvement initiatives along with the support of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to improve the Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay processes, with a keen focus on Invoice accuracy
  • Identify and realise areas of improvement around cash forecasting
  • Design a full suite of KPI’s and leading indicators to inform the business owners of financial performance
  • Represent the business on such operational finance matters with the PE investors

Candidate Profile:

  • Experienced, hands-on and determined Finance Professional; with the ability to speak on behalf of the CFO when necessary
  • Proven experience of driving improvements in the working capital cycle and process engineering skills
  • Experience working in international business would be useful, as would a background in PE backed businesses
  • Appreciation and understanding of high volume transactional environments
