The Role Brand Insight Manager (Part time 2.5 days per wk)

Key responsibilities include:
• Working with multiple sources of data, agencies, stakeholders to identify the opportunities that best drive market share and targets highlighting gaps and ensuring prioritisation that can have the biggest customer impact
• Ensuring the proposition development arising from opportunity is built on strong customer insight across the full marketing mix through close partnering with brand teams
• Highlighting issues to fix or ways to optimise our plans and propositions through leading a robust review and measurement of brand performance
• Leveraging best practice research and insight toolkits throughout brand development & evaluation
• Proactively seeking out new and innovative research techniques to constantly improve the quality, efficiency and impact of our work
• Building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams utilising great influencing skills based on inspiring storytelling and sound commercial understanding
• Managing agency relationships to ensure best value for money for the business
• This role will best suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind who is motivated to make change for the better and, most importantly, puts our customers first.
You'll need to have demonstrable experience of:
• A wide grasp of key research techniques across the marketing mix with particular expertise in brand development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to simplify the complex and synthesise multiple strands of information and data into key take outs
• Strong & proven influencing skills
• Sound commercial understanding
• Project management experience
• A blend of creativity and strong analytical skills
• Experience working in multidisciplinary teams to deliver joint objectives.
• Bachelors degree and at least 5 years experience of working in research or Insight roles ideally client side.
• Flexibility, ability to plan and organise, responsiveness, creativity, self-starter
• Able to build solid working relationships with peers and senior leadership
• Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation.
