Elec-Tech are currently seeking an RF Specialist, ideally with experience within some form of controls systems, BMS systems, security systems or the IoT. You will be working for a company leading the way with standards in control and applications to the connected world. At the start of an aggressive expansion period, they are looking to add to their already highly experienced team with someone who will have the ability to lead a team as the company continue to grow rapidly.
The RF Specialist will work specifically within the scope of Embedded Systems and Product Development, and will be responsible for taking on concept designs from the cloud, embedded and product development teams, being fully responsible for system design and development, through to completion and development of a final working solution.
You will be responsible for defining the requirements of and technically plan the launch phase of product development, and will be responsible for testing/scripting and initial configuration. You will design required tests and ensure they meet regulatory requirements (EMC, thermal, IEE wiring etc).
This role is based out of Central London, with regular contact with the cloud engineering team based in the US and across Europe.

REQUIREMENTS:•Knowledge of both analogue and digital CCTV Systems.•Knowledge of Access Control Systems, Card reader types. Lock types and door configurations, and other types of control systems.•Knowledge of IP networks and their component parts, Routing, Switching, Bandwidth.•Knowledge of PC's, Clients & Servers and Storage. Knowledge of or experience in using Microsoft Operating Systems.•Knowledge of electronics, electrical design, heat, power, interference, connectivity. This may come from RF Systems, Communications Systems, Control Systems etc.•Knowledge of communications standards, such as RS232, RS485. •Knowledge of Fibre Optic Transmission and exposure to Bluetooth.•Degree in Electronic Engineering, Computing, Systems Engineering or similar.

SALARY/PACKAGE:•£40,000 to £60,000 d.o.e.•Performance related bonus•Life insurance, pension and other industry related benefits.
