A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of HR Analyst on a temporary basis. Reporting to the Human Resources Business Partner BDI, EMEA, and this role will support the HRBP to achieve the HR team's strategic objectives, as set out in the HR Strategy by acting as the HR lead on a range of different responsibilities. This role will provide support, analysis and administration to the HR function and ideally will be based in Crawley,UK or in Karlsruhe,Germany.

The successful candidate will coordinate compensation programmes, generate reports, consolidate data, and provide consolidated EMEA wide analysis for a variety of initiatives.


The main objectives of the role will be the following:

Policies, Practices & Measures:

- HR Metrics: Generation of monthly metric reporting for sales and non- sales, ensure a smooth completion on a monthly basis, tracking open roles, leavers, headcount and referrals (identifying savings to be realized through direct sourcing strategy). Accurate and timely HR metric reporting in RGL and preparation of RGL slide deck.

- Benchmarking: Working together with BD Total Reward to to ensure competitiveness internally v externally. Complete the Towers & Watson Medtech Survey. Validate information and roll out of data and make the application of the benchmark mapping consistent across EMEA. Compare internal salaries to the market so that compensation remains competitive, draw-up promotion compensation recommendations.

- PeopleSoft: Use of PeopleSoft for management information reporting & data analysis. Work with cluster HR to ensure PeopleSoft is kept up to date and ensuring all terminations are deactivated maintaining integrity of all HR data.

- Manage and update top line organizational charts for EMEA.

Talent Management & Leadership:

- Succession Planning: Coordinate the roll-up of succession planning data for corporate submission in an accurate and timely manner. Coordination of material and ensure HR team remain on track to meet deadlines. Delivery of the succession planning metrics and analysis

Reward & Recognition:

- Salary Planning:
- Own the salary planning and bonus process and coordinate the planning across EMEA Functions.
- Preparation of merit budget recommendations.
- Ensuring process and overall operational efficiency, control and compliance (approvals).
- Planning to be accurate and to meet the set timeline.
- Ensure countries roll-up within budget and all key stakeholders have input into decision making.
- Accurate and timely communication to payroll to ensure that merit increases are processed.
- Liaise with the countries to ensure cooridnated communication
- Incentive Plans: Generate and distribute Incentive Plan letters (EIP and Shadow EIP), outlining the plan and setting targets and generate and distribute Incentive Plan letters confirming payments.
- Update Incentive Plan tracker and validating eligibility.
- Recognition & Reward programmes: Presidents Club, CRB Award, BSA, and Play to Win - Preparation of information as required.

Engagement & Communication:

- Manage announcements for new starters and internal promotions.

In addition general administrative duties of will include:

- Ad-hoc queries, reporting queries and administrative assistance as requested.
- Providing administrative assistance as required on all HR related matters including contracts, staff correspondence etc.



The ideal candidate must possess:

- At least one year of experience in preparing analysis and reports
- Excellent IT background including database knowledge, MS Excel and MS Access
- Peoplesoft experience is essential, experience working with Workday would be an advantage
- Integration project experience would be an advantage
- Have strong ownership with a proactive approach
- Excellent attention to detail and results orientation
- A strong communicator
- Have an organised and structured work style with professional integrity
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ideally CIPD qualified or part-qualified.
