Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, enthusiastic and committed individual who will have the vision and drive to successfully lead a large secondary high school. You need the ability to set a strong strategic direction to help the school deliver on its commitment to transform our schools into outstanding learning environments delivering high quality learning and teaching, working effectively with pupils, staff, parents and the wider community.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007 and as such membership with the PVG scheme is essential. Further details of this scheme can be found here. Preferred applicants will be required to become members of the relevant PVG scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer being made by West Dunbartonshire Council.
