Part Time Marketing Assistant-University of Huddersfield
Taskmaster in Huddersfield are looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant work join their busy team. The role in initially for 12 weeks, working Monday to Wednesday only, 22.5hrs per week. The registration interview for this role will be in Huddersfield and any potential interview for the role with the University would include a 30 minute copywriting test & 30 minute interview (Q&A format)
Purpose of the job: To assist in the effective implementation of marketing and communications activities to support the University’s objectives relating to student recruitment.
1.To write and proof copy and content for a variety of communications ensuring that it is grammatically correct, consistent, suited to a variety of target audiences and incorporates the University’s tone of voice and key messages.
2.To develop marketing and communication content, including copy, imagery and video for use within a range of online and offline media.
3.To develop online and offline collateral including writing project briefs, developing schedules, liaising with colleagues and ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines.
4.To support the University’s presence on social media sites, including Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and Facebook and The Student Room to maximise engagement
5.To work with current students in the development of user-generated social media content
6.To monitor social media channels to support customer service with internal and external stakeholders
7.To assist in the development of email communications including sourcing and developing copy, images, landing pages.
8.To support and maintain accurate and robust systems for all marketing and communications processes.
- To liaise with agencies, printers and other suppliers in the design, pricing and production of online and offline media
10.To build effective working relationships and liaise as required with colleagues involved in marketing and recruitment across the University.
