Hours 9 am to 5 pm, Mon-Fri.
Part time hours considered

General Description
Bookkeeper needed for small, friendly company in Dunstable that manufacturers, imports and exports worldwide.

Main Responsibilities

-Bookkeeping - SAGE software
- Entering purchases, sales, receipts, payments, expenses, preparing invoices, allocating payments.
-Preparing HMRC reports - VAT returns, EC sales, Intrastat
-Reconciling bank accounts
-Maintaining Excel spreadsheets
-Producing monthly reports (sales/purchases)
-Keeping track of payments and ensuring they correspond to purchase orders and invoices
-Paying supplier invoices & following up any discrepancies
-Preparing purchase orders and logging receipt
-Liaising with payroll, issuing payslips
-Providing admin support to other functions as required e.g. renewal of utility contracts, preparing export documents, ordering stock.

Education & Experience
-Bookkeeping - 2 years
-SAGE software (essential)
-GCSEs or equivalent
-Fluent in English (spoken & written)
- IT skills - MS Office (Excel - intermediate, Word -basic)
