Business Change Project Manager job in central Cardiff - Up to 55K + benefits - Financial services A job opportunity has arisen for a Business Change Project Manager to join one of the largest and most established organisations in South Wales. The organisation are embarking on an ambitious technology transformation programme and as a result they are undergoing a period of rapid expansion. This is a pivotal position within the Transformation and Business Change department. This role sits within a highly successful and growing team of Project Managers that are responsible for delivering a varied Transformation and Business Change portfolio, whilst supporting the Group's strategic objectives. The projects portfolio includes Technology, IT and systems integration, regulatory, risk and more. The Project Manager will take responsibility for managing several Business Change and Transformation projects through the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with Business Change, IT Delivery and other Business colleagues in order to co-ordinate the release of projects. You will take ownership of the delivery of change to time, cost and quality restraints. This role will require you to liaise with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders of all levels. These stakeholders will include Project Sponsors at senior levels, Business stakeholders at multiple levels, representatives of third parties and more. Furthermore, you will be responsible for matrix-managing cross functional teams to ensure successful delivery of key project deliverables. The Project Manager will proactively manage risk, issues and opportunities in alignment with the defined processes and methods. You will also assist any individuals or teams that are impacted by any aspects of change implementation. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following: A proven track record of successfully delivering complex Business Change and / or Transformation projects. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders of all levels. A recognised professional qualifications in Project Management (e.g. Agile certified, PRINCE2, MSP etc.) Any experience of working within an Agile and / or PRINCE2 methodology would be a distinct advantage. You should ideally have previous experience working within the financial services domain. You should be a forward thinking individual who is keen to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding organisation.
