You will be joining a team of high calibreproduct leaders led by Director of Product, Anthony Sullivan, formerDirector of Product at both the Guardian and BBC News. The role As a Head of Product reporting to the Director of Product, you will beresponsible for leading a key strategic work stream in creating anddelivering world class digital experiences that will be used and enjoyedmy millions of people around the World. In your role, you will lead, inspire, engage and collaborate with arange of colleagues across UX, Engineering, Marketing, CommunityManagement and Partnerships. Requirements What we expect from you An obsessive focus on audiences which will translate to creating worldclass products that meet and exceed our users needs. The ability to lead and inspire a cross functional team of Designersand Engineers. You will set and expect consistently high standards in ProductManagement practices. This includes analytics, insights and rapidprototyping and testing. Be an outstanding team player Embrace a "buck stops here" attitude. Be an energetic selfstarter with a restless appetite to find and deliver real value Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate several yearsexperience in: Product development excellence A track record of leading teams to create great products across a rangeof platforms including mobile. You can cite clear, multiple examples of how youve synthesisedaudience needs from market research, customer insights, analytics, andcompetitive insights to deliver successful products in partnership withUX and engineering. You will be experienced in working in an Agile environment. Thinking obsessively about how to drive greater positive impact, andmaintain clear performance metrics and dashboards. You can show how youset objectives and track them in transparent, measurable ways. Leadership & communication skills You are a motivated self starter. You do not wait to be asked but areproactive in driving your group forward. You have experience in hiring and developing product managers. You are effective at creating effective partnerships across a widerange of stakeholders, both across the organisation and externally. You are organised and able to communicate clearly at an operationallevel with delivery teams as well as at a strategic level with seniorleaders. Professional proficiency in English is required.
