Job Title: Junior Scheduler (Fixed Term)

Department: Presentation

Reporting To: Channel Operations Manager

Contract: Fixed Term (12 Months)

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Junior Scheduler to be responsible for executing accurate schedules for transmission.


  • Carry out daily checklist to prepare accurate schedules for sending to playout providers
  • Process spot files from Sales and send complete schedules to playout providers
  • Inputting continuity items and information to set deadlines and liaising with the Continuity team on schedule changes and updates within the schedule
  • Work with the sponsorship team to update rotations, and accurately process and schedule credits
  • To view and log programmes taking into account transitions, commercial compliance and editorial judgements
  • To provide cover for other department members in their absence in some areas



  • Experience within the broadcasting industry is desirable
  • Some knowledge/experience of Whats’On or other scheduling systems is preferred
  • Good PC skills including Microsoft packages
