We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher who is passionate about teaching and learning and can lead by example.

You will be an outstanding teacher with experience throughout the primary age range.

You will have leadership experience and will be driven by the core purpose that all children should make good progress each year.

You will be a key driver in continuing to shape and improve our curriculum working with the team to enable a strong and consistent shared vision of expectations that translates into practice.

You will be responsible for the curriculum, developing and providing CPD opportunities and supporting behaviour management.

There will be a 0.5 teaching commitment.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants must be willing to undergo Child Protection screening, including checks with past employers and the DBS.

Information about the school

Darenth C P School is in the rural location of the village of Darenth. The village is within close proximity of the A2/M2 M20 and M25. There is a Children/s Centre on the school site.
