My Client design and manufacture a complete range of lift solutions for domestic and public access applications. Their product range includes platform lifts, step lifts, home lifts, through floor lifts, passenger lifts and goods lifts. The company are a well established fully accredited business with an enviable reputation for excellence.

Due to continual growth they are recruiting for a Project & Survey Engineer, you will be:-

• Covering North Wales, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire and Shropshire
• Carry out site checks & reports
• Response to emergency repairs (including “out of hours” cover).
• Monitor quality of sub-contract building work and report on same to Contract Co-Ordinator
• Develop new sub-contractors as required
• Support as required to Regional Sales Manager on surveys

Skills needed:
• Technical understanding of building works required to support
• Lift Engineering/Mobility Sector experience
• Awareness of needs of the disabled
• General understanding & application of current Building Regulations as they apply to our works (ramps, balustrading, step heights, building structure)
• Ability to read drawings and interpret specifications
• Ideally living in the North West Area

• Salary £27 – 32k dependent upon experience plus great commission opportunities

• 22 days holiday per year, plus statutory bank holidays, rising after 5 years’ service days holiday plus 8 bank holidays
• 2 years death-in-service benefit from day one of employment
