Elsevier Oxford, Kidlington Were looking for a user experience expert with interaction designskills to help us improve EVISE so that it becomes one of the bestpublishing submission platforms. A big part of the challenge is to builda seamless experience for our users, as well as advocate for the userneeds and solutions to provide for those needs. EVISE is Elsevierspublishing peer-review platform and front door to publishing with Elsevier. What you will do: Work with UX designers and researchers on projects within EVISE bothin Oxford and London Advocate and share a user centred approach to product design Work closely with developers to ensure a smooth transition fromideation to production of the designs Have a strong knowledge in information architecture and user journey mapping Create high quality user interfaces using in line with the EVISEstyles guide Have experience of effectively using qualitative and quantitativeresearch methods to uncover consumer insights and apply them into yourinterface designs and solutions Embrace user testing and multi-variant testing as a methodology tounderstand our users and what interactions work best In addition to the details of design execution, you have a vision,passion, and a history for delivering successful digital products. Inorder to be successful, you will be a professional who is creative,proactive and results-oriented Work closely with product managers to help develop, improve theproduct and add value Expected skills and attributes: 3+ years in a UX design position and a demonstrated ability todeliver user focused products, applications or websites with elegantinteraction, visual design and thoroughly thought out UX Experience working in a multi-disciplinary and Agile team Knowledge of a prototyping tool such as Axure, Proto, Marvel etc. A basic understanding of how modern single page applications workand how can be utilised for a better user experience Have good understanding of how to create and utilise componentised design A bachelor's degree in HCI, computer science or equivalent. Experience conducting user research (usability testing, remotetesting, ethnographic research, tools such as UserZoom) and presentingfeedback to stakeholders will be considered a bonus Basic HTML/CSS skills will be considered a bonus Some experience in running multi-variant tests will be considered a bonus - provided by Dice AGILE, COMPUTER SCIENCE, DEGREE, HTML
