Laura Hartley Recruitment have the great pleasure in recruiting for a Financial Controller for our good client.
This global business have 4000 employees with a multimillion pound turnover. Established nearly 100 years ago.
We are looking for a Financial Controller you will be reporting directly to the CFO and MD and overseeing the financial team on a day to day basis.

Duties but not limited to:
*Oversee all company accounts and investments
*Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
*Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
*Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems
*Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported
*Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations, legislation and Jsox or Sarbanes Oxley
*Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
*Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
*Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to lead improvements
*Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
*Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
*Report to the CFO/MD with timely and accurate financial information
*Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders and board members

Skills and Qualifications:
*Batchelor's degree or master's degree in accounting, business, economics, finance or a related field
*At least 5 years' experience in a business or finance environment
*Management experience leadership and organisational skills
*Outstanding mathematical and research skills
*Honesty, reliability and integrity
*Solid written and verbal communication with high attention to detail
*Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
*Strong computer skills and a thorough understanding of data privacy standards
*Be a core part of the Management Team
*Knowledge of the automotive industry would be a distinct advantage

International travel to global meeting one a year
