Senior Project Manager job in central Cardiff - Up to 47K + benefits - FTC until December 2018 Our high-profile client has a business critical requirement for a Senior Project/Programme Manager. This role will initially be a fixed-term contract position until the end of December 2018, with the possibility to be extended further past this date. Building on the review undertaken by the client, the successful candidate will play a lead role in the strategic redesign of intelligence services across the clients estate. This redesign will impact on the way in which intelligence is designed, delivered and used by agencies and stakeholders across Wales. The post holder will lead and manage the delivery of this strategic and politically complex and diverse project. Leveraging existing work across the whole organisation, and taking a corporate approach to health intelligence the post holder will use leading edge project management methodologies, ensuring that appropriate plans are produced, key milestones are achieved and that the required outcomes are met. As a major transformation programme employee and stakeholder engagement and involvement will be pivotal. The post holder will therefore need to build strong, influential relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation. They will also liaise with a number of external stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to take sole ownership for a key strategic initiative for the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for: The design of a new Target Operating Model for intelligence services across the clients state The successful delivery of the project to redesign intelligence services across Wales in terms of time, cost, quality and change management The supervision of a Business Analyst Taking sole ownership for the strategic delivery of this project The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following skills / experience: A proven track record of successfully leading and implementing large scale projects at a senior level Experience of leading and managing projects and teams in an informatics environment Experience of managing projects and teams in an intelligence / BI / data environment Experience in delivering highly specialist change management and quality improvement services Exceptional track record of working across multiple organisations to deliver service change Excellent stakeholder management skills A relevant Project Management qualification (such as PRINCE2, MSP, Agile etc.) would be an advantage If you would like to discuss this position in more detail please apply with an updated CV and I will call you to discuss.
