Head of Technology Platforms A leading online Publisher requires a Head of Technology Platforms totake technical ownership of Architectural roadmaps, Development,Delivery and Operations for a complete platform transformation includingnew Websites, CMS, Identity Management, subscription paywall, CRM andAnalytics Platforms. This transformation will include a number of new tools designed toincrease revenue through increasing subscription and retention. Forexample, identity and access management, payment gateways, elasticsearch, analytics, customer journey and UX, semantec search, marketingautomation, etc. Working closely with 3rd Party suppliers, the Head of TechnologyPlatforms will act as the CTO's right hand person to own technicalproduct roadmaps and technical delivery, ooperations and leadership.This will include working with the business to identify their long termrequirements, developing an architectural roadmap and ensuring suppliersarchitecture and designs are aligned to the platform strategy androadmap, acting as the voice of internal Product Owners to ensurepriorities are communicated and releases are effectively agreed andmanaged. To accurately and decisively guide technology platforms and productdirection, the successful Head of Technology Platforms have come from atechnical background and have previous experience of developingtechnical roadmaps or architecture. Communication and gravitas are as important as technical nouse, so itis important to clearly demonstrate your ability and experience dealingwith senior stakeholders across different business functions such asmarketing, sales, digital, etc. Head of Technology Platforms will also have demonstrable experiencemanaging delivery through 3rd party suppliers, ensuring they are kept ontrack and accountable for their delivery and that development representsgood value for money.
