Sewell Wallis are working on a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a well-known and reputable business based in York. After a recent restructure this new opportunity has arisen which will work closely with the Head of Finance and across non finance departments in the business. Given the size of

Your responsibilities will include the following:-

-Business partnering with two General Managers who run two separate divisions.
-Financial Reporting, forecasting and balance sheet control requirements.
-Supporting on bids and tenders.
-Supporting the General Managers throughout various projects, supporting with pricing.
-Managing a team of 5 part qualified and newly qualified accountants, providing them with structured development and progression plans.
-Reviewing and challenging monthly results for the division.
-Challenging General Manager's so they understand the margins in the sales they make.
-Capital expenditure forecasting.

You will need to be a qualified accountant with a strong commercial background with exposure to business partnering with non-finance individuals. You will have experience managing a team of accountants and be confident in developing and progressing them throughout the organisation.

Experience working within a manufacturing environment would be beneficial however not essential.
