£21,000 - £23,000

Our client is a specialist insurance underwriters and one of the City’s top performing Lloyds of London syndicates. They are seeking an HR Administrator to join their friendly and professional HR team. Based within iconic City offices and providing HR Generalist advice and guidance to the London and International offices this is a highly visible and involved role.


- Ensuring detailed and accurate data entry is completed
- Ensuring accurate maintenance of personnel record files
- Assisting with probation process administration
- Preparing monthly headcount reports
- Assisting with leaver administration and arranging exit interviews
- Providing references for past employees, sending and monitoring receipt of reference requests
- Document notes from weekly HR meetings
- Assisting with annual appraisal process
- Prepare personnel files for new starters
- Maintain individual and Company training plans and records
- Assist with sourcing and booking training courses
- Collate accurate job specifications and requisition forms
- Ensure staff details are kept up to date on the Company intranet
- Arrange interviews and process offer letters, contracts and new joiner documentation
- Arrange full induction programmes for all new joiners
- Assist with any monthly payslip queries and assist with the collation of monthly payroll admin for submission
- Management of the HR system ensuring admin processes are kept up to date
- Carry out other general HR & Training related duties as requested


- Educated to least A level standard
- Strong and accurate attention to detail
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload and stick to any given deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Must have a desire and be committed to pursuing a career within HR
- Ability to produce accurate and compliant documentation
