In order meet and exceed customers' expectations and to meet technical demands we now have an exciting career opportunity for a Configuration Technical Supervisor to supervise and manage the service desk and break/fix imaging team, to ensure that configuration orders and break/fix calls are processed according to the agreed standards and in accordance with the customer’s instructions. Ensuring efficiency and production are maintained to required standards and targets. Manage the transition of customers build solutions and provide both external and internal on-going administration support for all services, within the configuration centre.

Main duties :

• To maintain and support the Configuration Network to ensure it is operating efficiently at all times
• To support the Configuration Department in providing technical assistance as and when required to supporting teams and customers.
• To ensure backups of all configuration and break/fix images and media are maintained and kept in a secure location.
• Ensure T&M for new customer processes to assist in defining a KPI.
• Assist when required with training for the Configuration service desk staff and Break/fix Team
• Ensure all transition activities are carried out to agreed standards for configuration and break/fix services
• Ensure all business management and monitoring reporting is carried out in real-time or to agreed timelines
• Provide day to day support internally to the operational teams within SCC
• Compliance with formal change control process for both internal and external change requests.
• Review and update all relevant departmental processes and flows to ensure they are up to date and accurate at all times.
• Maintain a 3 day SLA as per ISO20000 accreditation
• Schedule configuration orders in line with Customer SLA’s and Delivery Dates
• Technical vetting of configuration orders prior to scheduling
• Liaise with PS and Sales force around BAU and Project accounts.
• Ensure Project schedules are updated on SharePoint where applicable
• To escalate issues regarding SLA and Production to the management team
• To ensure all day to day office duties are completed to agreed standards
• Ensure tasks being monitored and completed within agreed SLA.
• Carry out internal service reviews with supporting departments
• Carry out interviews for new positions within team
• Carry out Return to Work interviews
• Administer HRSS system for team
• Carry out annual PDRs for team
• Comply with all Health and Safety requirements within the Configuration Centre
• To ensure all day to day office duties are completed to agreed standards
• Adhere to the configuration centres ISO accreditations standards that support this job role function.
• Assist the Operational Management in the daily running of the Configuration Centre, through the above and any other duties as necessary.

Skills and Experience :

• Supervision and Coaching Skills
• Excellent communication Skills
• Excellent presentation Skills
• Knowledge of multiple hardware/vendors i.e. Desktops/Laptops/Servers, HP/Lenovo etc.
• Knowledge of IT products essential, ideally accreditations such as MCSE, MCP.
• CompTIA Server+ (Advantageous)
• Understanding of network processes
• Understanding of ISO processes & procedures
• MS Office and Excel Skills

SC clearance or the ability to gain SC clearance will be required .
