We are recruiting for a Transport Administrator within our large, highly respected blue chip client that provides branded goods and services across the entire Globe. The successful candidate will work within the European transportation network including global Air and Ocean business. This includes both primary logistic flows from manufacturing plants to Distribution Centres, but also international and local transportation to Customers.

Hourly Rate: £17.90phr (£35k pa)
Location: Bournemouth
Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday - Friday
Duration: Temporary 12 to 18 months

The key focus areas are implementation of standards, KPI management, Claims management and excellence in carrier performance management.
This role will have direct interaction with key international supply chain roles within the company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Job experience (3-5 year´s) in international transportation (Road / Air / Ocean)
* or Bachelor and 2 years job experience International transportation
* Warehousing or other supply chain experience is a plus

SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Excellent understanding of all export and import related regulations (incl. dangerous goods, customs, etc.)
* Excellent written and spoken English skills required / further language is a plus
* Knowledge of MS Office applications and ideally SAP
* Strong analytical, process and project management skills
* Ability to work independently with effective problem solving skills
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
