The Company:
A subsidiary of a well-established and successful privately-owned Company within the IT Sector; this sister company is a £ 3m revenue business with 350 business customers throughout the UK. They are profitable with no debt and have a strategy to reach £ 5m by 2020. Our client operates out of a service centre in Newtown St Boswells with a team of 25 and have a sales office in Edinburgh, due to continued growth opportunities they are now seeking to recruit a Sales Manager to be based in Newtown St Boswells.

Purpose of the role:
Reporting into the Managing Director you will manage and develop relationships with my clients existing customers, uncover new sales opportunities and respond to inbound sales
enquiries in a professional manner.

Working within this business critical role you will be tasked with the managing the on-going client relationships whilst seeking, identifying and prospecting in to new accounts. Developing relationships with new and existing accounts alike you will be expected to work with other departments within the business to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Dividing your time between account management (30%) and new business (70%) you will be selling and promoting the complete portfolio and services offered.

Person specification:
A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in IT Industry
Experienced at both New Business & Account management
Ability to present to High-level management
Confidence and tenacity with the ability to remain calm and determined after setbacks
A winning attitude and proven track record in succeeding and exceeding targets
Time management skills and able to cope well within a pressurised sales environment
Solely focussed on business growth with medium to large organisations (a hunter at the top of their game)
Background in selling connectivity, telephony, cloud products and or IT Managed Services
Proven track record in sales achievement
Home based with no subordinates, preferably Scotland but not essential
Ideally built their own customer and contact base across the UK
