An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our client Leading Global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Knorr, Persil & Magnum are currently looking for a Foundry - Programme Assistant Manager based at their prestigious facility in Blackfriars London. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months but could potentially be extended, working a 36.25 hour week. This role is paying up to a maximum £35K pro rata (18.50 per hour)

Overall objective:

To run the process of brands experimenting with innovative technology partners. This role is about engaging and managing senior brand leaders, startups and our scouts to ensure the process from brief creation, through to pitch-day and in-market pilot implementation runs smoothly.
Actual responsibilities:
- Pilot projects management
o Briefing phase: Engaging with Senior Brand leaders and our partners responsible for finding startups (scouts) to develop and sharpen the brief, which will be published on the company board
o Curation phase: Project managing the process of reviewing startup applications. This includes bringing the brand team and scouts together on a regular basis and providing guidance on the overall process.
o Pitch doctoring phase: Working with the shortlisted startups to connect them with a creative agency who will help to develop their pitch for 'pitch day'.
o Pitch session: Ensuring smooth delivery of the Pitch day, which brings together senior brand leaders, agencies & other teams, together with the scouts and shortlisted startups who are pitching their technology.
o Pilot phase: Ensure support from pitch to pilot i.e. Working with the Brand team, their digital & creative agency, legal, procurement and the scouts to facilitate the process of landing the in-market pilot.
o Partnering phase: provide ongoing monitoring, support and escalating any issues whilst the pilot is ongoing. Once the pilot is complete, capture learnings/insights and proposal to move forward (or stop) working with the startup.

- Business development
o Internal networking at events, category and brand meetings
o Create engagement opportunity internally e.g. Manage the structure and content of the Foundry Club event: quarterly events dedicated for our business community to share experience and offer insights on hot tech topics.
o Create sales materials when necessary

- Connecting startups and brands/function
o Introduce startups to brand teams when suitable
o Going to external events to scout great startups to bring in our Foundry startup network

- Running UF internal events. (Foundry Club) Likely frequency is 2-3 per quarter. This involves educating and inspiring the business on what is out there in regards to new tech or partners and the opportunities to pilot them.

- Developing out learnings (playbooks or landscapes) into various technology areas (e.g. Blockchain) and looking for the front runners in this area. Cascading this to the wider business.

- Internal Communications lead and supporting on external communications.

- Managing budgets

- On time:
o Ensuring the process from crafting the brief through to pitch day takes no longer than 3 months
- In Full:
o Ensure that 100% of startups selected to pilot are moved into a pilot within 9 months of selection.

Key requirements/skills needed:
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including an ability to engage with people at various levels of seniority, proactively resolving issues and finding solutions to challenges in an unknown environment.
- Project Management skills, including the ability to concurrently manage many projects.
- Passion for startups/innovative technology/digital marketing
- Strong marketing/brand experience, including experience of working with agencies

- Internal and External Events leads
- Internal Communications - newsletter, educate the business about Foundary
- 1 to 2 years' experience of Pilot management. Ideally want a candidate with start-up experience and someone who has worked with in a Corporate with start-up.
