It's an exciting time to work in Enterprise Information Management (EIM) whose job it is to optimise data assets, making data sources available to business users, enabling them to fulfil regulatory obligations, drive value and deliver truly differentiated customer experiences. We are seeking individuals to help shape the future of our clients data platform, drive forward new tooling and delivery new data assets to the business fast, using cloud technologies and all of this while thinking about the safety and security of data.

What you will do

* Design, analyse, map, build and test ETL in an enterprise data Warehouse.

* Strong experience of the data lifecycle in data Warehouses from acquisition through to mart presentation.

* You will be a self-starter who is constantly scanning the IT landscape for technology that can help make banking even better.

* Embrace cloud/big data and be a cloud advocate who has solid skills in traditional data Warehousing (Kimball etc.) and cloud warehousing (e.g. AWS Redshift).

* Ability to build strong business knowledge, and who understands our key challenges and drivers in the Financial Services sector.

* You will be adaptive and flexible with the ability to build strong and valued relationships with implementation partners with both an onshore and offshore presence.

* Provide direction and guidance on all technical aspects of Warehouse development.

* It's a varied and exciting role so you'll enjoy multi-tasking as part of an awesome team to deliver quality products [safely], provide support and guidance to colleagues and contribute to the strategic roadmap within your specialist area of Warehousing and BI.

You will have a passion for gaining insight from data (structured or unstructured), whether that be Warehouses, data lake, ODS, MI/BI/next gen Analytics. If you can support an Oracle Warehouse stack with a view to modernising and recommending solutions on our journey to Cloud adoption we'd love to hear from you. As an engaging individual you will enjoy building relationships and have the gravitas and confidence to work effectively with all levels across the business.

Required skills/experience

Oracle stack: OWB 11.2, Database 10g - 12c, ODI 12c, PL/SQL + tuning / SQL optimization

AWS, Amazon Redshift, Open Source systems

Agile/SCRUM, TFS, DevOps, Test Automation

Desirable skills/experience

OBIA, OBIEE, Oracle Apex, SAS DI Studio / Enterprise Guide / Visual Analytics + AML
