We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Tier 1 Support Technician to join our client's award winning exchange specialists firm. The company is looking for exciting, innovative and experienced technicians to join their team to help build the company into a world leader.

Key responsibilities are descriptive not restrictive in nature:
- Identify, diagnose and resolve first level problems for kiosks, workstations, laptops, terminal service sessions, software and hardware, network and VPN connectivity, the internet, server services, server driver space, validation of server error messages for escalation and new computer technology.
- Provide one-on-one end user problem resolution over the phone.
- Set up and assist in the configuration of kiosks.
- Diagnose and resolve end-user networks.
- Coordinate timely repairs.
- Perform minor desktop repairs.
- Act as a remote hands for engineering staff onsite.
- Assist in creating materials for end-use frequency asked questions
- Provide assistance for Tier 2 staff with problem research and documentation.

There is also a level of customer service required for this role, due to assisting members of the public with technical issues. A full UK driving license and access to a car is essential.

Ideal candidate will have:
- Five years' experience in end-user phone support
- MCP qualification is desired, however if you do not hold this qualification the company will work toward the compliance part as a performance improvement plan agreement.
- Strong computer literacy
- Excellent rapport building
- Proven track record with technical support and customer service.
