Chubb Fire and Security, part of the United Technologies Corporation, is currently recruiting for a Qualified Financial Reporting Accountant to join our UK & Ireland Finance Function based in Blackburn, Lancashire. In order to be considered you must be a Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA but we will consider ACCA/ CIMA Qualified Accountants) with excellent Excel skills, audit and statutory account preparation experience with knowledge of HMRC and Tax Returns. In order to tick all of the boxes you will also have knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and Tax but this is not compulsory. This could be an ideal career opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual seeking to make their first move from Practice.

Responsibilities will include:

- Safeguarding Chubb UK & Ireland by complying with all statutory reporting requirements
- Overseeing preparation and submission of statutory accounts and corporation tax and other regulatory returns
- Developing and implementing the compliance process for statutory reporting to ensure Chubb UK & Ireland is fully compliant with corporate policies, UK SAO legislation, IFRS & US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley.
