Job Title: Marketing Executive

Salary: £40k

5/6 Month Contract

Our client is looking to recruit a Marketing Executive to project manage and execute CRM driven digital and direct marketing campaigns in consultation with their team members. You will be required to support the management of the CRM database, ensuring all data sources and ancillary databases optimise data collection and exchange data correctly on a daily/weekly/monthly basis, in order to continuously improve the customer experience and achieve business objectives.


* To project manage and execute CRM driven digital and direct marketing campaigns, in consultation with team members. (50%)
* Plan, project manage and monitor CRM driven digital and direct marketing campaigns in order to acquire, retain or research customers in-line with the business plan.
* Prepare and obtain data selections for consumer marketing activities taking into account targeting, data suppression and response tracking.
* Develop direct-to-consumer marketing assets and content tailored to media, audience designed to achieve campaign objectives.
* As needed, assist with the execution of PPC/GDN and Facebook campaigns with keyword research, copy recommendations and drafting creative briefs.
* Ensure campaign website content is published, up to date and engaging to drive visitor traffic in order to meet campaign objectives.
* Work with marketing teams to schedule, build and dispatch email campaigns which are targeted, timely and relevant, monitor and optimising deliverability
* Liaise with agencies and vendors, supporting the Senior Market Manager with relevant administration.
* Perform detailed analysis and reporting of key metrics for consumer campaigns using a variety of analytics tools to ensure reports can be completed on time.
* To assist with the daily management of the consumer database and departmental processes. (50%)
* Ensure data from all data sources is correctly collected and exchanged between central and ancillary databases on a daily basis
* Support the Senior Market Manager in identifying, reporting and scope requirements to rectify any issues/problems with the CRM databases.
* Ensure data is correctly collected and exchanged into CRM databases, is of a high quality and contains necessary contact information, attributes and tracking.
* Assist the Senior Market Manager to develop and implement system improvements with regards to; data collection, forms, verification of fields, deduplication, verification of records through electronic cleansing and use of suppression files, and compliance with legislation. i.e. GDPR, opt-ins
* Assist the Senior Market manager assist with any local/global projects which link with Salesforce CRM/Marketing cloud and consumer database
* Responsibility for submitting and monitoring all data and CRM technical requests with UK CRM vendor/IT support/Business Process team.
* Create reports and dashboards for management information e.g. to track and monitor campaigns, database status, profile of customers, setting up automated reports where possible.
* Responsibility for departmental campaign processes and management, briefing documentation and processes; associated database set-up and administration, and completion of budget tracker.

Skills and Requirements

* Degree or equivalent preferably with a focus in marketing
* Hands on experience of planning and executing digital direct-to-consumer marketing activities to generate leads, conversions or retain customers
* Skills and experience in creative content writing using professional, engaging and grammatically correct written English and able to interpret, write and use the correct 'tone of voice'.
* Skills and experience in creating marketing materials and assets e.g. collateral, adverts and emails.
* Experience working with Salesforce CRM, data administration, change specifications, reporting and analysis
* Experience of project managing campaigns involving multiple stakeholders, working effectively and collaboratively with others.
* Practical experience of data cleansing, data selection, response tracking and data suppression.
* Practical experience of managing email marketing in email service provider platform (preferably Exact Target/Salesforce Marketing Cloud), including setup, testing, deployment, and reporting. Experience using marketing automation desirable
* Knowledge of data legislation, particularly GDPR relevant to data driven marketing
* Practical experience of executing PPC, GDN, Facebook and email marketing campaigns
* Practical experience of web CMS and digital analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
* Analytical and numerate, able to interrogate and interpret multiple data sources including the use of Excel and produce user friendly reports in PowerPoint
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, particularly MS Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint with the ability to produce reports on marketing activity
* Proactive, self-motivated and hard-working, able to work independently, to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines, with a flexible attitude to job role and demands
* Team player with good communication skills, organised, accurate and with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to develop effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues and external business partners/suppliers
