Working for one of the UK's leading mechanical and electrical maintenance providers. As a company they specialise in maintaining large commercial client sites including offices, large retail and distribution centres. They cover air conditioning, commercial gas, electric and fabric maintenance throughout the UK.

Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician to join the team, this is a static role and you would be based at one of their large sites in Manchester

Role Summary:

* Accountable for completing all Maintenance Work Orders within area of responsibility or discipline to meet all SLA/ KPI’s. Statutory Maintenance, Mechanical / Electrical, L8 Water Treatment/Management, Pressure Systems, Hydraulic, Compactors and Lifting Equipment in accordance with current legislation.
* Undertake maintenance, repair and minor works associated with critical, essential and non-essential assets in accordance with relevant Maximo Job Plans.
* Follow maintenance risk assessments on all work activity to ensure safe systems of work are adhered to
* Provide support to Technical Services Team Leader to assist with any hosting of 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising.
* Adhere & maintain all Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental Logbooks, including Contractor, Electrical, Environment, Fire, H&S, Water Management & Other Services.
* Be part of or work towards supporting Out of Hours Emergency call out team, following required training and competency assessments.
* Responsible for or work toward becoming an Isolating Authority to perform electrical, mechanical or other isolations when required and where authorised.
* Responsible for or work toward becoming an Authorised Person to manage High Risk – Permit to Work activities when required and where authorised. Complete Weekly Timesheets to record all Work Order start and finish times, in accordance with CBRE business controls and KPI’s.
* Carry out Workplace Inspections with Maintenance teams and Contractors to ensure Plant Rooms and Workspaces are maintained and kept in a safe condition.
* Participate in regular Tool Box Talks & Safety Observations, in line with monthly QHSE reporting requirements.
* Report/escalate all out of line situations, including Near Miss & Accident Reporting.
* Support any other reasonable requests to meet business needs/priorities when required.

Experience Required:

* Electrical qualifications
* ECS Card
* Experience in a similar role
* Commercial Maintenance experience
