Maintenance Planner
6 Month Fixed Term Contract

My client who are a globally recognised manufacturer based in Swindon are currently seeking a Maintenance Planner to add to their growing maintenance team.
The role of the Maintenance Planner is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access

* Coordination of work activities using CMMS for both planned and reactive tasks
* Purchasing and optimisation of spares including creating BOM
* Controlling of KPI's for maintenance teams. MTTR, MTBF, OEE, Technical Availability
* Producing downtime reports
* Complex problem solving using relevant techniques
* Involvement with the company apprenticeship program
* Provide technical support as required
* Represent department in new equipment reviews
* Co-Ordination of safety inspections such as Statutory Conformance, COSHH control.
* Maintain department documentation
* Liaise with both internal and external suppliers

Experience required
Engineering or manufacturing background
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Previous experience in a maintenance planning role or similar
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
