Technical Account Manager

The ONE Group have an exciting opportunity to join a Queens award winning technology business in Cambridge, who design, develop & manufacture mobile device management products for clients on a global basis. The business is looking for a candidate that can show enthusiasm, knowledge within a relevant technical field, alongside an excellent commercial awareness and sense of drive.

Ideally, you will be a qualified technical account manager, that will oversee and address customer needs, providing an accurate technical service before point of sale. A technical understanding of either electronic and/or software engineering is paramount for this position. You will be results driven and have a sense of drive and passion for customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide technical support to customers pre/post sales
* Address product related queries
* Train customers on effective use of products
* Analyse customer needs and suggest upgrades
* Work closely with sales departments to win business and increase profit
* Keep record of sales performance
* Engage, grow & support new/existing products
* Occasional travel may be required

The Ideal Candidate

As this role is primarily a technical support/service and sales support-based role, you will need to have a basic understanding of Electronic and/or Software engineering principles.

* Excellent communication skills, clear & well spoken
* Commercially aware, able to liaise with all levels of a business
* Willing to learn and engage in new technology and ideas
