The Opportunity

The Test Systems Equipment Team provides a variety of Test Systems for MBDA’s products and employs in excess of 50 people. An opportunity has arisen for a resource focussed individual to join the team working across all aspects of the resource domain from Recruitment to the preparation of bids and costs for future work.

The Role

- Responsible for all aspects of resource management and related activities for the Test Systems Team;
- Coordinate and deliver a huge variety of tasks including bids; recruitment; workload forecasting; production of product route maps; managing the identification and delivery of research activities; assurance of the Technical Excellence of products and many more;
- Provide the above within the technical environment of Test Systems encouraging and creating a culture of innovation/change/improvement and personal improvement of the staff within the area;
- Develop extensive networks across the business to ensure that the needs of the Test Systems team are fully supported.

What are we looking for?

To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate a majority of the following attributes:

- You are likely to have relevant technical qualifications and experience/appreciation of the design environment and design process;
- You will have strong management skills enabling you to plan and deliver tasks to timescales and budgets;
- You will have significant understanding of how functional/department entities operate and the activities needed to ensure that all the appropriate resources are in place for the function to be effective;
- You will understand the process of creating and presenting bids for project work;
- You will have strong personal competencies, be a self-starter and have the tenacity and commitment to deliver to strict deadlines;

- You will have a desire to help others develop their careers through personal coaching and mentoring.
