We are SCC - Specialist Computer Centres , Europe's leading IT services organisation providing computer support and maintenance services to many of the UK's largest commercial organisations and public sector bodies .

Increasing demand for our business critical IT services has resulted in an exciting career opportunity for a talented individual provide on site support on mainly software issues for our customer's employees in Swindon and London .

The role :

Spending 3 days' in Swindon and 2 days' in London .

Dealing with mainly software issues at desk side .

Complete software incidents to customer/manufacturer procedures and specifications.

Updating of existing information /documentation and writing new processes when needed.

Managing small works packages such as desk moves etc

Identify and resolve software and some hardware issues on laptop , desktop and tablet devices .

Skills, Knowledge & Experience :

Strong working knowledge of Windows 10 , Windows 7 and Microsoft Office suite .

Excellent troubleshooting skills with evident problem solving abilities .

Working knowledge of SCCM , Active Directory , LDAP etc

Basic networks awareness of DHCP , DNS etc

Server knowledge would be advantageous .

Strong communication skills and able to work effectively with people at all levels - both technical , non technical and VIP's .

Able to manage own workload , prioritise ticket queues based on customer impact and with minimal supervision .

Driving licence
