Our client has rapidly become a leading manufacturer of safety barrier systems to the construction industry for many major companies around the world and are compliant with all global safety standards and are one of two industry recognised training centres of their expertise in the UK.

With huge expansion plans expecting to shortly double their turnover they have identified a need for an experienced Production Manager to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

The Role:

You will be working or have come from a welding/fabrication background and be familiar with welding techniques certainly by hand and any exposure to robotic welding (Yaskowa) would be beneficial.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of production facility and the 20 - 25 core staff who work in the production facility including their welfare, H&S and discipline.

You will be required to put information into excel or word spreadsheets and other computer programmes with regards to production and daily/weekly production scheduling.

Upkeep of the company IS0 9001 AND 14001 quality systems.

You will be dealing with clients of the company via telephone, email and face to face.

As a good people person you will be customer and staff relation focused and you will be a good fit in relation to the dynamics of the direct team and management.

They are looking for an individual who has time served experience within the steel production and welding management.

Working Hours - Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00 but due to the seniority of the role a clock watcher would not be right for this position.

Salary will be between 30 - 40k dependant on experience
