Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Electronics Engineer To design and develop electronic products to meet internal and customer requirements, ensuring quality expectations are met and projects are delivered on time and on budget.

Key responsibilities:
• Act as a technical lead on hardware projects developing new products for internal and customer requirements.
• Work with the project manager to define the detailed tasks and activities to deliver the project to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Design systems and test specifications to meet requirements.
• Complete the testing and validation of systems against the objectives to validate designs.
• Coordinate the release of products to the production team and support the integration into the product lifecycle. This will include all documentation required for a production build (Drawings, BOMs, schematics, artwork, change notes, release notes, build procedures etc.)
• Support the production team when technical issues and repairs arise.
• Support new sales opportunities when analysing requirements, producing a technical proposal and costing
• Work with all aspects of the business to identify ways of continuous improvement.
• Adhere to company procedures and support the maintenance and introduction of new and improved working practices.
• Establish a good and approved supply chain for outsourced system components.
• Producing low level test specifications and procedures for component testing

Candidates should ideally be qualified to Degree level in Electronics Engineering or similar and have a minimum of two years commercial experience in a similar role. Candidates should also be able to meet the following experience requirements:

• Analogue and RF Circuit Design
• PCB Design knowledge / experience
• Knowledge and understanding of Embedded Systems
• An understanding of Software Design and Development would be beneficial
• Knowledge of Embedded Software (C, VHDL), Altium and / or SolidWorks would be highly beneficial
