We are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager who is required to work on The Co-operative Group Account with a focus on the General Insurance business and the Membership workstreams within TCG.

The purpose of the role is to support the Senior Account Manager to deliver the client account plan and assist in the processing of new projects and work based within Manchester but the successful candidate will be need to be flexible in their travel arrangements as the role may necessitate working from other locations as required.

A minimum of 2 years account management experience required in a creative agency or a print managed services environment, with proven experience working on integrated campaigns from creative through to production.
The Account Manager will support by processing briefs from the client or as directed by the SAM and AD. This will entail briefing creative, studio, estimating, production and the various departments within APS, using in-house systems and standard workflow procedures.

The Account Manager will need to step in for the Senior Account Manager when he/she is unavailable and have the confidence to take a brief, answer queries, escalate issues as appropriate.

The role will require a close working relationship with the Senior Account Manager to deliver client projects on time and to budget.

Essential Requirements:
? Experience of managing clients in a creative services, digital or print production environment
? Ability to take client briefs face to face or by email and manage client projects from brief through to production
? Experience in managing client expectations around timescales and deliverables
? Experience in maintaining and developing on-going client relationships
? Understanding of integrated marketing campaigns
? Experience of managing
? DM Experience
? Understanding of data management and data processing principles
? Knowledge of data privacy regulations and an appreciation of legislation and how this impacts one to one communication
? Understanding of financial promotion regulations and ASA standards
? Understanding of the financial services market and the other areas in which TCG operates
? Ability to estimate creative and production work, measuring profitability on a job by job basis and campaign basis
? Understanding of contract requirements: commercial pricing structure, SLA’s and measurement e.g. KPI packs.
