CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Fabric Technician to join the team located in Sheffield. The successful candidate will carry out repairs to a variety of building services including minor plumbing works, building work and possible grounds works.

Role Summary:

• Complete and finalise projects to a high standard
• Involvement with refurbishment, planned and reactive maintenance
• Plan and complete a range of works associated with Maintenance and planned preventive maintenance
• Provide exceptional maintenance services to the Client, going the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas
• Produce clear and concise reporting for the client (through systems and verbally)
• Utilise work through PDAs / mobiles to complete works key communications and updates
• Apply the knowledge of plumbing systems
• Read and understand technical drawings and plans
• Work in tight spaces and high levels
• Effectively communicate with clients
• Completing reactive, PPM jobs and projects in a timely manner
• Following health and safety guidelines
• Understand technical instructions

Experience Required:


• NVQ Level 1-3 wood occupations or equivalent
• CSR Card Holder
• IOSH working safely or equivalent
• Multi-skilled - plumbing, building work, joinery, plastering, tiling, flooring and painting
• Sound knowledge of all construction and maintenance works within a reactive maintenance team
• Team player but can also work with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills
• Current UK Drivers License
• Strong decision maker


• First Aid Training
• Additional construction qualifications.
• Manual Handling training
• COSHH training
• Confined space training
• IPAF card holder
