E-Commerce & Social Media Executive

Gandys was founded by brothers Rob & Paul, who came from a bohemian upbringing - travelling and volunteering all over the World. Gandys began in 2012 in the Brothers bedroom in Brixton as a social enterprise selling only flip flops, in recent years Gandys has grown into a full lifestyle brand with stores opening all over the UK, running in conjunction with its online and wholesale channels.

Explore some of the responsibilities

- Improving conversion rates and basket spend, maximising opportunity from the process of placing an order and building brand loyalty
- Work with external development agency to manage overseeing the building and development of their new Magento website,
- Overseeing the delivery of all current site updates and maintenance with existing developers in a clear and concise manor alongside the new transition
- Ensure SEO changes are made on website, manage agency to deliver against keywords, measure performance and revise strategy based on business needs
- Overseeing the stock management system, including managing products and promotions, to deliver KPI's
- Create sales analysis reports to identify opportunities of growth and improvement
- Responsible for the management of the brand's online channel and improving brand awareness
- Management, planning and implementation of the promotional and marketing calendar for the online store and across the wider company
- Strategic planning and implementation with marketing executive in key marketing growth opportunities including social media, emails, partnerships and outreach
- Working with key online influencers to build online presence
- Lead the email marketing programme's, including content and graphics, as well as automation implementation with other marketing tools
- Working on the marketing calendar alongside external agency's; PR, Affiliates, ESP, retargeting, SEO and PPC
- Report on ecommerce marketing activity; analytics of the website, email open and click-through rates

1. Previous experience working within a Fashion Retail Marketing background operating at a similar level
2. Experience of delivering results and business impact
3. At least 2 years in Ecommerce/Marketing/Social Media
4. Photoshop or Indesign Skills are essential
5. Knowledge of PPC, SEO, Google Analytics, (preferable)
6. Understanding of customer journey and constantly trying to improve
7. Experience with online business development and managing transactional websites
8. Experience working with CMS and Magento (preferable)
9. Self-motivated to continually ensure targets are not just met but exceeded
10. Keeps abreast of industry and function developments
11. Experience of working in different cultures and working environments
12. A good level of commerciality and customer facing
13. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
14. Action and solution oriented
15. Strong team player
16. Ability to deal with ambiguity and approachable
17. Excellent time management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task
18. Enthusiasm, energy and determination to achieve results
19. Strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to Gandys values
