Our Walsall based client is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to develop and implement a business development strategy for the UK & Ireland in order to achieve the sales and profit targets and long-term business success.

This company are industry leaders in tube manipulation, fabrication and high integrity welding. They are widely regarded as one of the UK's most trusted fabricators of tube, plate and section structures.

Reporting to the Operation Director this is an exceptional opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join a significant player with a record of growth and profit: reflecting a company providing continual investment in its products, customers and people.

Main duties and responsibilities:
* You will identify new business opportunities and develop existing client relationships with Power generation, petrochemical, oil & gas, process plant, environmental & nuclear businesses.
* You will generate sales enquiries through effective relationship building and gathering information from new business opportunities.
* You will communicate the company's value added market position; accurately interpreting client needs and proposing suitable solutions and closing deals.
* Preparation of high quality presentations and proposals for submission to clients in support of new business pitches and bid opportunities.

Person Specification:
* You will be an accomplished Business Development Manager with demonstrated success at identifying and qualifying opportunities, setting appointments, pipeline building, negotiating and closing sales to grow new business.
* You will have Demonstrated success at identifying and managing sales related relationships.
* You will be a fast moving self-starter who is able to define own priorities and deliver projects working autonomously
* You will have the ability to build trusted working relationships at various levels within a client's organisation.
* You will be bright, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial with a positive can-do attitude and a real desire to succeed.
* You will have the ability to demonstrate persuasive and influential negotiation techniques in a customer-facing environment
